Green Deal Finance

We are asking for people who have had their Green Deal Assessment to tell us what they have been offered by their Green Deal Provider. What financial agreements have been offered, and more importantly what is the interest rate you have been offered on your Green Deal loan?

As the initiative begins to pick up pace it would be great to hear from all you good people about how you are finding the experience?

  • Has it been easy booking an assessment?
  • What have you been charged for an assessment?
  • How long did it take to generate the assessment?

Let us know how you have been getting on and what you’d like to see from central Government regarding the Green Deal.

Have you been offered Green Deal Finance?

Haven’t been offered Green deal finance since my assessment in January, because I cannot get any Provider to visit my property. Anyone living in a rural area (Home owner)and requires benefit tested ECO (via HHCRO) is being ignored. Providers and Installers are concentrating on high concentration areas i.e. Towns and Cities.
One Provider in my area showed some interest but required me to purchase a new assessment because, they said, that some national software was not working and they could not access my EPC. I offered to email them a copy but apparently that was not good enough!
Not a Green Deal, rather a Brick Wall!
